Mourne Grange School

In the Kindergarten 3-6 year olds are busy singing, making music, baking,craft-work, and lots of imaginative play. When they are approaching 7 years of age they then move to Class One wher more formal learning of numeracy and literacy begins. Mourne Grange School can provide for their education up to Class Five (when they are 11 years old) after which they can attend the local secondary school.

Over the past years done extremely well in the Secondary School of their choice where we have heard their teachers speak of them as being positive,motivated,enthusiastic and socially aware.

THE PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

Recently a growing number of parents and their young children have been coming along to our Parent and Toddler Group which meets the needs of children under 4 years. Here the emphasis is on creative play guided by the teacher,who is qualified in Early Childcare and Education.
