Candle-Making

Our candle-making activity is at the moment only seasonal as it uses the wood workshop and is looking for its own room. Our candle-making has a serial production character. Usually, our candles are made of plant waxes and are hand-dipped. Cast candles are also produced but as a sideline and for variety. We produce candles of various sizes and coloured special effects finishes. Although we can produce up to 900 candles per week, we find this activity therapeutically very relaxing. Beautifully packaged, our candles are a main fund-raiser at various craft shops in the country as well as abroad. At craft fairs they are a real attraction.
